When I meet with a client for the first time, they are often very reassured to learn that I have run my own Financial Planning business since 2001.

My extensive experience helps me connect with my clients and gain an understanding into what really matters to them. Most importantly, I am able to use this understanding to create personalised strategies so they can achieve financial freedom.

I am extremely passionate about assisting individuals to ensure that they have enough to live on in retirement, but also be able to travel and to live life.

I started my Financial Planning career in Gippsland and moved to Melbourne to join Nick in 2004. During my time in the industry, I’ve seen many changes and been through numerous investment cycles. Because of this, I’ve become highly skilled in building strategies that are tailored to individual client long-term needs.

Problem solving comes naturally to me which is why one of my key specialisations is the complex area of Aged Care. This is a time when families are usually feeling stressed and emotional, so it’s rewarding for me to be able to at least help them protect the financial security of their loved one.

Since 2017, I have been part of the OzPlan team, working my way to become an accomplished Financial Adviser and Principal.

My passion lies in not only assisting people in reaching their financial goals, but aiding families through the emotional decision of transitioning a loved one into Aged Care, a journey I've navigated personally with my grandmother.

I enjoy the new challenges I am presented with daily, and through applying my knowledge, personal experiences and tertiary education, it allows me to demonstrate to clients that they can achieve their personal financial goals and objectives.

Originally from the UK, I have worked in this industry for over 30 years in Australia.

I joined OzPlan in 2013, leading our Paraplanning Team and serving as the Office Manager. Collaborating with our advisers, I contribute to building strategies for our clients to help them achieve their goals and objectives.

When someone is moving a loved one into Aged Care, I feel privileged to be able to help, having gone through the process myself with my father-an area which is close to my heart. It is very rewarding to be able to make a difference.

I joined OzPlan in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant, and I am now one of the Senior Paraplanners.

The opportunity to assist clients in various aspects of their financial goals, from Superannuation, Retirement, Cashflow Planning, Aged Care and navigating Services Australia, is what I enjoy most about my role.

Being part of the OzPlan team is truly enjoyable for me due to the supportive, friendly, and flexible work environment. The team goes above and beyond to provide assistance whenever it's needed.

Having joined OzPlan in 2019 as a Receptionist, I have now transitioned to the Paraplanning Team, whilst also pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

I enjoy working closely with our clients throughout all aspects of financial planning, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute meaningfully to people's lives is very rewarding. I take pride in playing a role in making a positive difference.

As I continue my studies, I am eager to apply new insights to enhance the quality of service we provide.

Starting with OzPlan in 2018, I work part-time in promoting their Aged Care Financial Services.

After spending over 35 years in demanding positions at corporate companies, the shift to a smaller company like OzPlan has been refreshing. Here, my contributions are genuinely appreciated.

My role involves promoting our 3 educational brochures: Understanding the Cost of Aged Care, Working in a Retirement Community and Planning for Retirement Guide. I also coordinate presentations at Retirement Villages, collaborating directly with Village/Sales Managers.
